On a slightly lower volume of emails, the below case study explains and shows the email activity over the month of June 2009 and how Remotely Mail worked to prevent Spam
getting through to users computers.
The figures below show the level of protection that our customers have come to expect from Remotely Mail and month after month, it continues to deliver the results that keep it at the top of it's game!
Over the whole month of June we can see that a total of 10,844 emails were sent
to Aspen Corporate.
5006 of these emails were marked as definate spam and were deleted.
746 were marked as likely spam so were quarantined and reported to users
114 contained viruses so were deleted
32 were marked as likely containing viruses so were quarantined and reported to users
4946 were classed as good email and delivered to the proper mailbox.
So in essence, just under 46% of the email received throughout June was classed as good email and delivered to the correct mailbox, while just over half were blocked by our system
and prevented from entering theirs! Pretty good stats when you consider that more than half of the email was junk - not something you want to have to deal with every morning when you come in to work!
